Awards Day & Student of the Month - May 2012

May was another busy month in the art room, with Junior Certs completing their projects and Leaving Certs completing their practical exams. The art room is looking very bare and clean as all groups have finished up their projects and everyone work is taken down from display.

Congratulations and well done to both students for all their hard work and dedication all year!

As a class, Junior Cert Students voted for their favourite Junior Cert Art Project of the Year for 2012. The winning project is by Jennifer Leyden, who thoroughly deserved the award. Well done Jennifer. Jennifer was a consistent hard worker all year round, and completed an excellent project on the theme of Looking at Nature. Part of the prize is a blog post dedicated to Jenny's full project, which will be posted after it has been examined in June. Click on link below to view
