Here are some of the fantastic finished pieces.
Student of the Month - March 2012
1st Year - Cliodhna Harkin.
Cliodhna shows a great interest in art. She is a very consistent worker and put alot of work into her finished 'Fashion Show' poster!
2nd Yr - Aoife O Connell.
This etching by Aoife of her new puppies is one of my favourite prints from the class projects. She has really captured the essence of what printmaking is..lots of different lines, textures, patterns and a great balance of black and white. Well done Aoife!
3rd Yr - Aoife Taite.
Aoife has put so much time and hard work into the 3D part of her project. Her giant giraffe head looks fantastic and is almost finished. Keep up the good work Aoife!
LCA1 - Kimberley Noone.
Kimberely has great ideas and has made a great contribution to our current project for The Roscommon Schools Sculpture Competition.

Another Scary Movie!
Gaisce participants finished their 13 week animation course, just before the Easter break. Here is their finished (extremely spine chilling!), horror stop motion animation film of, yet another Scary Movie! ''A Scary Movie'' was made By Katie Conlon, Katy Flynn, Rachel Kerrane and Lucy Madden. Each student made their own version of the film, editing and cutting different clips, and adding different sound effects. This finished film is made by Lucy and selected as the best film from the group to be viewed on the blog. Congratulations Lucy and well done to all the girls for their commitment to the course over the past months.
