Students created the sheep using fencing wire, covered with hundreds of pom poms made from recycled plastic bags, plaster of paris, paint and varnish. Well done to all the students involved for their hard work.

3D Ideas using Mod Roc - Making A Figure
Junior Certs have the art room covered in dust, clay, wire, paper mache, newspapers and what ever other materials they can lay their hands on to create the final 3D stage of their projects! Many students are using Mod Roc to create their 3D forms. In this video link from Specialist Crafts it show you how to make a simple Mod Roc figure from a wire armature. This project is perfect for illustrating how armatures work, but also allows you to create human forms in various positions to use as models to sketch from.
