My Local Environment.
This project will be an investigation into the streets, buildings, architecture and landscape of your local environment. Students must gather interesting images and information from various different sources. For example around the school, your home, your street. To gather this information students may use:
- Google Street View
- Photographs
- Videos
- Observational Drawings

First task is to create a Mind Map of visual images of your ideas for the project. Mind Maps are all the visual images and words you can think of that are associated with your theme or subject matter. Here are some good examples to give you ideas. (click on the images to view larger size)

Research and Discuss the following Artists

3. Create A5 pieces of art works, using a variety of different mediums

Students will develop several drawings into a final design for a:
- Pastel Drawing
- Stamp design
- Lino Print
- Etching
