5th Yr - Anti Litter Short Film Awards Ceremony!
5th Year Art students had a fantastic afternoon in the Roscommon Arts Centre on Wednesday 21st March, for the Awards ceremony and screening of their Anti Litter Short film, entitled 'The Litter, The Witch and the Wardrobe’. This is third year Roscommon County Council in association with the New Media Institute has ran this competition for secondary schools in the area and is a really worthwhile projects for all participants involved. The 5th Year class spent several weeks creating storyboards, scripts, props and costumes, using a variety of different recycled materials, inspired by the characters of the famous fantasy novel by CS Lewis. Congratulations to all the students for their hard works, and a special thank you to Lauran O Sullivan who presented an introduction to the film on the day, on behalf of the class.
